People often think a lot and takes longer to invest in property as compared to any other investments which is quite obvious due to its value of investment but, Is this the only reason for taking so long to decide? might be NO.

Generally, people talk but do not research about real estate investing as much as they do for other investments like stock market, gold, mutual funds, bonds, fixed deposits, etc. which eventually keeps them away from the property market.

There are few real estate facilitators who actually assist the investors with unbiased counselling rather than only meeting their sales target or being focused on their commission income.

Investors should do their extensive research on project location, reputation of a Builder, construction quality, timely completion of a project, etc.

The current digital era and the law of RERA has made the access to information lot more easier than before for the investors to analyze and wiser decision making.

An investor always try to benefit from the laws of the land to achieve higher return on their investments but they should also think beyond tax exemptions, government statutes, laws, etc.

An investor should put his investing principles first followed by the tax benefits and not the vice-versa.

No point in playing too safe or too risky instead research and plan your finances well for a better and faster return on investments.

Factors like investing in Under construction vs. Ready-to-move-in, Leasehold vs Freehold, etc. depends on an individual's perspective. The wiser option would be to work out the numbers and then take an informed decision.
